Tiffiani and Jarrett are such a fun loving couple. The moment I met Tiffani I felt an instant connection through style and knew I would be the perfect person to capture this wedding. Tiffani mentioned a flower archway, two piece dress, flower crown, leather jacket, pig roast…. literally everything gave me heart-eyes and I’m SO lucky they chose me. These two traveled to Italy for their honeymoon, and soon after moved back to California to start their careers as amazing doctors! (Cutest Doctors ever) Here’s a little bit about their day.
Q: How and when did you meet? Tell us about your first date too!
A: Jarrett and I met in Medical School. We were in Grenada. (A Caribbean island). We were neighbors who used to carpool to class.
Q: Tell us about your proposal! When, where, how?
A: It was on Halloween (my Favorite holiday)! We were dressed up as sugar skulls. We had a halloween party and a piñata and a ring box and rose petals fell out instead of candy! Best treat ever!
Q: Wedding Date
A: April 13, 2019
Q: Guest count
Q: Where was it, and why did you pick the venues that you chose?
A: Brickhall in the Hollow. We picked a venue where we could transform the space into what we wanted
Q: What inspired your wedding décor? Did you have a theme in mind? Tell us all about your flowers, the linens, the lighting, special tables, favors, everything!
A: I like minimalist and modern. I chose white flowers and tablecloths. I wanted something special for our sweetheart table so thats why I went with the velvet tablecloth. I also wanted to have the arch be the one big item. I also chose copper mugs for our guests. Its always nice to get a favor that you can actually use.
Q: Tell us about the food/drink!
A: We had a raw bar and passed apps. We did a PIG ROAST and other bbq items and a various fruit pies for dessert. We wanted non-traditional wedding food. and our signature drink was a Buffalo mule out of the copper mugs.
Q: What was your absolute favorite part of the day? Does your spouse have a different favorite?
A: My favorite part of the day was our drive into together. We drove separately in to the ceremony space. It was nice to have time to ourselves. We also loved dancing at the reception and having all our best friends/family together
Q: What was the biggest challenge you faced in planning your wedding?
A: Planning a wedding while both being so busy. Some vendors are also very hard to get a hold of!
Q: Biggest piece of advice to future couples*
A: Don't do something just because "thats what you're supposed to do" or because its the tradition. We treated our wedding as a big party and only picked details that we loved. Your wedding is supposed to reflect who you are, don't be afraid to be different.
“We really enjoyed our small wedding. It was intimate and felt more like a large dinner party. I loved that!”
